The antioxidant properties of hibiscus aids cholesterol and blood sugar management, some people also claim hibiscus helps with hot flashes. Please note: sometimes we have shredded hibiscus flowers, and sometimes whole flowers (pictured above), it depends on what is available. Both taste the exact same!
Steeping Suggestions:
Hot: Temp: 212°F Amount: 2 tsp. of tea. Steep: 3-10 minutes
Iced: Steep 1 oz of tea overnight (or 8-12 hours) in 1 liter of water.
